Zach was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Northeast Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette and his Juris Doctor degree from IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.

During law school, Zach worked in the office of the Indiana Attorney General and was associated with Blackburn and Green concerning personal injury litigation. Upon passing the Indiana State Bar, he continued association with Blackburn and Green and later served as a corporate attorney for Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company in Fort Wayne.

Zach came to Mefford, Weber and Blythe, P.C. in 2015 and is licensed to practice in the State of Indiana and the United States District Courts. Zach is a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, DeKalb County, Indiana. He assists with many areas of practice, corporate and municipal included, with the firm.

Zach is a member of DeKalb County Bar Association, Allen County Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, and National Academy of Elder Law Attorney, Inc.

Zach is active in many civic organizations; a member of Learning Link of DeKalb County, Board of Directors of the Auburn Development Advisory Council, The Board of The United Way of DeKalb County, a member of the Learning Link of DeKalb County Steering Committee, and a chairman of Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana. Zach resides in Auburn with his wife and golden retriever and enjoys flying, trap shooting, smoking meat, reading, and watching sports.
